This project was undertaken by Nigel Greenwood, RCN (Ret’d), FRIN, FNI of Greenwood Maritime Solutions Ltd. in collaboration with Captain Kevin Obermeyer and Captain David (Duke) Snider. A naval veteran and qualified master mariner, he maintains seagoing currency through seasonal employment as an ice navigator in the Canadian Arctic and as a local small-craft sailor.
