However, it also contributes to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, underwater noise, and water pollution, affecting sensitive ecosystems. Ship Design and Technologies to Reduce Environmental Impact explores how ship design innovations and technological advancements can help reduce the environmental footprint of marine shipping.
