This project was undertaken by Nigel Greenwood, RCN (Ret’d), FRIN, FNI of Greenwood Maritime Solutions Ltd. in collaboration with Captain Kevin Obermeyer and Captain David (Duke) Snider. RAdm Greenwood has a background in physics, oceanography, and international studies. He is a naval veteran and qualified master mariner, who maintains seagoing currency in seasonal employment as an ice navigator in the Canadian Arctic, and as a local small-craft sailor.
