A 2-part digest of the 2013 West Coast Spill Response Study commissioned by the BC Ministry of Environment.
Clear Seas Centre for Responsible Marine Shipping has released a 2-part digest of the 2013 West Coast Spill Response Study commissioned by the BC Ministry of Environment.
Volume 1 provided a baseline snapshot and gap analysis of the existing marine oil spill prevention preparedness and response regime in British Columbia, including a description of the laws, regulations, programs, and plans that govern the regime. Volume 2 provided the BC government with an analysis of vessel traffic and associated oil movements along the West Coast of Canada.
Clear Seas has made these Report Digests available to the public in an effort to make impartial, evidence-based information about marine shipping accessible to Canadians. Digests on other reports pertinent to Canada’s marine shipping industry can be found under Clear Seas Resources.
