Les pilotes utilisent leur connaissance approfondie des voies navigables locales pour guider les navires en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 dans les zones encombr\u00e9es ou dangereuses. Traditionnellement, cela n\u00e9cessitait le transfert physique d&#8217;un pilote \u00e0 bord d&#8217;un navire, une pratique qui, bien qu&#8217;efficace, peut s&#8217;av\u00e9rer difficile sur le plan logistique, co\u00fbteuse et risqu\u00e9e, en particulier dans des environnements \u00e9loign\u00e9s ou difficiles comme l&#8217;Arctique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon une \u00e9tude r\u00e9alis\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment par Clear Seas sur les implications technologiques du pilotage maritime, bien que le syst\u00e8me de pilotage canadien soit tr\u00e8s avanc\u00e9, les juridictions europ\u00e9ennes sont plus en avance dans le d\u00e9ploiement de syst\u00e8mes avanc\u00e9s de gestion du trafic maritime et de pilotage \u00e0 distance. Il est n\u00e9cessaire d&#8217;\u00e9valuer l&#8217;impact que ces technologies pourraient avoir sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9 et l&#8217;environnement dans le cadre du pilotage au Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"research-project-inner-section align wp-block-acf-tu-research-project-inner-section\">\n\t<h2 class=\"h4 inner-section-title\" data-aos=\"fade-left\">Objectifs de recherche<\/h2>\n\t<div data-aos=\"fade-up\" data-aos-delay=\"250\">\n\t\t\n\n<p>Cette initiative de recherche pluriannuelle permettra :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>D&#8217;\u00e9laborer un concept pour un futur syst\u00e8me de gestion des risques li\u00e9s \u00e0 la navigation maritime au Canada.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>D&#8217;\u00e9valuer comment la gestion avanc\u00e9e du trafic maritime (AVTM) et le pilotage \u00e0 terre (SBP) pourraient compl\u00e9ter ou remplacer les pratiques traditionnelles dans certaines r\u00e9gions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>D&#8217;\u00e9valuer les r\u00e9percussions de l&#8217;introduction de ces technologies sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, l&#8217;\u00e9conomie, l&#8217;environnement et la soci\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"research-project-inner-section align wp-block-acf-tu-research-project-inner-section\">\n\t<h2 class=\"h4 inner-section-title\" data-aos=\"fade-left\">Approche<\/h2>\n\t<div data-aos=\"fade-up\" data-aos-delay=\"250\">\n\t\t\n\n<p>Le projet rassemble des experts de l&#8217;Universit\u00e9 Dalhousie, de l&#8217;Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Chicoutimi (UQAC) et d&#8217;autres partenaires universitaires, avec le soutien de l&#8217;industrie, du gouvernement et d&#8217;organismes de recherche ind\u00e9pendants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;\u00e9quipe universitaire de Dalhousie est dirig\u00e9e par Floris Goerlandt du d\u00e9partement d&#8217;ing\u00e9nierie industrielle et Ron Pelot du d\u00e9partement d&#8217;ing\u00e9nierie industrielle et du programme des affaires maritimes. \u00c0 l&#8217;UQAC, l&#8217;\u00e9quipe universitaire comprend Martin Otis du d\u00e9partement des sciences appliqu\u00e9es et Salmata Ouedraogo du d\u00e9partement d&#8217;\u00e9conomie et de sciences administratives, avec le soutien de Marianne Falardeau, professeur en sciences environnementales \u00e0 la TELUQ.<\/p>\n\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"research-project-inner-section align wp-block-acf-tu-research-project-inner-section\">\n\t<h2 class=\"h4 inner-section-title\" data-aos=\"fade-left\">Axes de travail<\/h2>\n\t<div data-aos=\"fade-up\" data-aos-delay=\"250\">\n\t\t\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conception et simulation du syst\u00e8me \u2013 Sp\u00e9cification des caract\u00e9ristiques du syst\u00e8me de pilotage \u00e0 distance et tests par rapport \u00e0 des sc\u00e9narios actuels et futurs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>R\u00e8gles d&#8217;optimisation et de d\u00e9ploiement \u2013 D\u00e9finition des zones et des conditions d&#8217;utilisation de la technologie afin d&#8217;\u00e9quilibrer s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et efficacit\u00e9.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00c9valuation des risques pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u2013 Comparaison des risques de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence avec ceux des futurs syst\u00e8mes de pilotage \u00e0 distance, y compris les facteurs humains.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analyse socio-\u00e9conomique \u2013 \u00c9valuation des mod\u00e8les de gouvernance, des incitations et des compromis co\u00fbts-avantages.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00c9valuation environnementale \u2013 Prise en compte des impacts sur les \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre, la qualit\u00e9 de l&#8217;air, le bruit sous-marin et les \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes marins.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"research-project-inner-section align wp-block-acf-tu-research-project-inner-section\">\n\t<h2 class=\"h4 inner-section-title\" data-aos=\"fade-left\">Financement<\/h2>\n\t<div data-aos=\"fade-up\" data-aos-delay=\"250\">\n\t\t\n\n<p>Financ\u00e9 par le Gouvernement du Canada, le programme Acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration de Mitacs et les autorit\u00e9s portuaires. <\/p>\n\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"research-project-inner-section align wp-block-acf-tu-research-project-inner-section\">\n\t<h2 class=\"h4 inner-section-title\" data-aos=\"fade-left\">R\u00e9sultats attendus<\/h2>\n\t<div data-aos=\"fade-up\" data-aos-delay=\"250\">\n\t\t\n\n<p>Ce projet fournira des donn\u00e9es probantes qui \u00e9claireront l&#8217;approche du Canada en mati\u00e8re de services de pilotage futurs. En explorant comment les technologies de pointe peuvent am\u00e9liorer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9 et la durabilit\u00e9 de la navigation, la recherche vise \u00e0 soutenir un cadre de pilotage modernis\u00e9 qui concilie s\u00e9curit\u00e9, protection de l&#8217;environnement et comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique.<\/p>\n\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div
