Cette \u00e9tude, qui pr\u00e9voit le trafic maritime jusqu&#8217;en 2040 \u00e0 partir d&#8217;une base de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence de 2023, vise \u00e0 \u00e9clairer les discussions sur les risques, les opportunit\u00e9s et les d\u00e9fis li\u00e9s \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9volution des activit\u00e9s de transport maritime. data-aos=\"fade-up\" data-aos-delay=\"250\">\n\t\t\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une croissance significative du trafic est possible d&#8217;ici 2040<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;\u00e9tude d\u00e9montre qu&#8217;une croissance de 60 % du trafic maritime international sur la c\u00f4te pacifique est possible si tous les projets de d\u00e9veloppement propos\u00e9s se d\u00e9roulent comme pr\u00e9vu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Augmentation totale du trafic futur r\u00e9partie de mani\u00e8re uniforme<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Sur la base des projets de d\u00e9veloppement propos\u00e9s et planifi\u00e9s, la c\u00f4te sud pourrait accueillir 1 194 navires suppl\u00e9mentaires par an, tandis que la c\u00f4te nord pourrait accueillir 1 147 navires suppl\u00e9mentaires par an.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La c\u00f4te nord conna\u00eetra un pourcentage plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 d&#8217;augmentation du trafic maritime international<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les projets de d\u00e9veloppement pr\u00e9vus autour de Kitimat et Prince Rupert pourraient contribuer \u00e0 une augmentation de 217 % du trafic maritime entre le Canada et l&#8217;Asie, de 529 navires par an \u00e0 1676 navires par an.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La croissance du trafic de navires-citernes provient principalement des projets de gaz naturel liqu\u00e9fi\u00e9 (GNL)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les projets de GNL sur les c\u00f4tes nord et sud de la Colombie-Britannique seront les principaux responsables de l&#8217;augmentation du trafic de navires-citernes sur la c\u00f4te pacifique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Augmentation spectaculaire du nombre de remorqueurs d&#8217;escorte destin\u00e9s \u00e0 assurer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des p\u00e9troliers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Compte tenu de l&#8217;augmentation attendue du trafic de p\u00e9troliers, les op\u00e9rations de remorquage devront \u00eatre multipli\u00e9es par dix pour
