Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ce partage de connaissances, les membres de la communaut\u00e9 de pratique peuvent appliquer ces technologies d&#8217;une nouvelle mani\u00e8re afin de r\u00e9pondre aux besoins d&#8217;information pour un environnement marin plus s\u00fbr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Open Ocean Robotics (OOR) produit et exploite des v\u00e9hicules de surface sans \u00e9quipage (USV) qui permettent d&#8217;observer les oc\u00e9ans presque n&#8217;importe o\u00f9, ce qui inclut la connaissance du domaine maritime de base (MDA) pour le trafic maritime de tous types. Le DataXplorer(TM) USV est un petit (~3,5m de long x 1m de large), aliment\u00e9 \u00e9lectriquement et recharg\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9nergie solaire, capable de r\u00e9sister \u00e0 des \u00e9tats de mer difficiles gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une fonction brevet\u00e9e d&#8217;auto-redressement. Il est command\u00e9 \u00e0 distance depuis n&#8217;importe quel endroit o\u00f9 une connexion internet peut \u00eatre \u00e9tablie via des modems cellulaires ou satellitaires pour diffuser des vid\u00e9os et des donn\u00e9es \u00e0 terre. Il contient des cam\u00e9ras \u00e0 spectre visible et infrarouge, un \u00e9metteur-r\u00e9cepteur AIS et des capteurs environnementaux pour la vitesse et la direction du vent, la temp\u00e9rature de l&#8217;air et de l&#8217;eau, la profondeur et la vitesse dans l&#8217;eau et sur terre. Il peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre \u00e9quip\u00e9 de capteurs sp\u00e9ciaux pour l&#8217;acoustique passive, d&#8217;instruments de profilage et de cam\u00e9ras suppl\u00e9mentaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&#8217;OOR DataXplorer a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 par diverses agences gouvernementales canadiennes ainsi que par des organisations externes pour des missions MDA, la surveillance des mammif\u00e8res marins et la surveillance des zones marines prot\u00e9g\u00e9es. La surveillance robotis\u00e9e et autonome des routes maritimes commerciales pour d\u00e9tecter les activit\u00e9s \u00e0 la surface et sous la surface afin d&#8217;aider \u00e0 att\u00e9nuer les risques gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des observations est tout \u00e0 fait possible aujourd&#8217;hui en utilisant des USV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A propos du pr\u00e9sentateur :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fritz Stahr, Ph. D., Directeur de la technologie, Open Ocean Robotics<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fritz est directeur de la technologie chez Open Ocean Robotics \u00e0 Victoria, en Colombie-Britannique, poste qu&#8217;il occupe depuis un an. Il y dirige la recherche, le d\u00e9veloppement et la fabrication de v\u00e9hicules de surface sans \u00e9quipage (USV) et des syst\u00e8mes de donn\u00e9es et de contr\u00f4le associ\u00e9s. Auparavant, il a travaill\u00e9 dans le domaine des v\u00e9hicules et des instruments sous-marins avec des flotteurs profileurs et des planeurs oc\u00e9aniques, et a effectu\u00e9 des recherches sur les chemin\u00e9es hydrothermales et les courants en eaux profondes \u00e0 l&#8217;aide de v\u00e9hicules sous-marins autonomes. Son exp\u00e9rience comprend la production et la gestion, la conception opto-m\u00e9canique et la cr\u00e9ation de petites organisations \u00e0 but non lucratif.
