Join the Port of Vancouver Delta Community Office Speaker Series for a free presentation entitled “Safe and Sustainable Shipping: What does it take?”.

Richard Wiefelspuett, executive director of Clear Seas Centre for Responsible Marine Shipping, will talk about whether or not Canada is doing enough to prevent marine shipping incidents, what role social license plays as marine shipping expands, and how Canadians feel about Canada’s marine shipping industry.

About Port of Vancouver Delta Community Office

The Port of Vancouver community office in Delta provides an opportunity for community members to meet Vancouver Fraser Port Authority staff and learn about port operations, initiatives and projects, including the proposed Roberts Bank Terminal 2 Project.

The office features a mini-visitor centre and plays host to a variety of community-focused events and meetings, such as the Port Community Liaison Committee’s regular meetings.
