Canadian Coast Guard statement regarding vessel traffic restrictions on the St. Clair River August 21 2016

SARNIA ON – This notice is to inform boaters about temporary vessel traffic restrictions on the St. Clair River, during an unsanctioned event called the Port Huron Float Down on Sunday, August 21, 2016.

In order to ensure safety and security on the water during this event, under the authority of Transport Canada, vessel traffic restrictions will be in place and the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) has issued a notice to shipping about temporary restrictions in the area for all mariners.
